Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

1. Who We Are

HallWallet ("HallWallet," "we," "us," or "our") is a personal-finance tool for owner-operators and truck drivers, operated by NEXTWAVE SUPPORT LLC, based in Florida, United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

If you have questions, contact us at info@hallwallet.com.

By creating an account or using HallWallet (the "Service"), you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and password when you sign up.
  • Financial information you enter — settlement/payment amounts, income, expenses, bills, tax reserve figures, savings goals, and similar data you manually add to track your money.
  • Images you upload — photos or screenshots of settlement statements, checks, receipts, or similar documents. These images may contain sensitive financial and personal information, which we store on your behalf so you can reference and organize your records.
  • Communications — if you email us or join a waitlist/notify list, we collect the email address and any information you include.

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage and device data — through analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), we automatically collect information like your device type, browser, pages visited, and general interaction patterns. This helps us understand how the Service is used and improve it.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — we use cookies to keep you logged in and to support analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.

We do not currently connect to your bank accounts, and we do not collect financial data directly from third-party financial institutions. All financial information comes from what you manually enter or upload.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide the core Service — calculating your "safe to spend," tracking income and expenses, managing tax reserves, bills, and savings goals.
  • Store and organize the records and images you add.
  • Create and maintain your account and keep you logged in.
  • Respond to your questions and provide support.
  • Send you service-related messages (such as account or security notices) and, if you opted in, launch or feature announcements.
  • Understand usage patterns and improve the Service.
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or misuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the financial data you enter to advertise to you.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share information only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers — we use trusted third parties to run HallWallet, including our hosting and database provider (Supabase) and our analytics provider. These providers process data on our behalf and are expected to protect it.
  • Legal requirements — if required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of HallWallet, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers — if HallWallet is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We would notify you of any such change.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing.

5. How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, unless we are required to keep it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your account and associated personal information.
  • Opt out of non-essential communications.

To exercise any of these, email us at info@hallwallet.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to deletion. We do not sell your personal information.

8. Children's Privacy

HallWallet is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may reference or link to third-party tools (such as analytics). Their use of information is governed by their own privacy policies, not ours.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we will provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
